One of Onegai Kaeru team members went around Tokyo in search of cheap and big food when he was a hungry and poor student. He still loves large and not expensive food.  

Japan is known for small and expensive food. If you are a foreign traveler in Japan, you may be already starving to death by now. Despite bad economy, price hike is serious in Japan. We do not get full at Yoshinoya or Sukiya these days. We need a big and cheap food.

Continued from the previous "Where can we get FULL in Shinjuku", we will further introduce some restaurant and cafe where you can eat cheap and a lot. 

Please note that these places may have their rules about the food such as if you can not finish eating it, you may need to pay some penalty. Please order with caution!

In Kyoto you usually walk a lot as the city is compact with a chess board design thus easy to get direction right. After visiting hundreds of temples and shrines, are you not hungry in Kyoto?

In the ancient city with high culture, you do not expect your food to be big and cheap. Probably a tiny Tofu on some beautiful plate costs 500-1000 JPY. The food there are supposed to be "beautiful", small and expensive. Of course the taste usually great too. But the amount is critical for hungry tigers...
