できるだけ無料で、いかに英語を学べるかを考えてコツややり方を紹介していきます。

第1回なので、著者紹介と、なぜ、完全無料でできる英語教育の教材とコツについて提供しようと考えたかについて少し書きます。

著者は、帰国子女でもなく、純日本人。漫画家を目指し、小中高とほぼ勉強をせず、英語の成績も最下位争いをしていました。高校には入れないと担任の先生に言われる中、（県下でも最下位レベルの）高校に入学で、高校の授業でBe動詞、アルファベットの勉強から始まり、初めて英語をまともに勉強しました。

「偏差値○○からの」という教材や成功体験本？がありますが、それらは著者や主人公は実際は進学校出身でいわゆる地頭がいい、もともとはできる子である印象です。読んだこともないので、批判もあるでしょうが、読んで、それを実践してみたり感化されて、勉強に取り組んだとしても、「実感」「結果」がない人が殆どなのではないでしょうか？

著者は、全て自力で、当時でいうセンター試験は英語はほぼ満点でした。大学時代にはTOEICで900点を超えました。教わることが下手で、学校で先生のいうことが理解できず、もちろん塾も無意味で、自力で勉強しました。

勉強ができる人でも、できない人でも使える、汎用性の高い英語勉強法にたどり着きました。

英語で金を稼げる時代から、英語ができないと金を稼げない時代に。

経済大国であった日本は外国語を学ぶ必要はありませんでした。全てお金で解決できましたし、お金の欲しい相手国が日本語を学んできたのです。しかし、2025年現在、経済大国日本は存在しません。

英語を学ぶ必要が残念ながら高まってしまっています。

そんな筆者が理想と考える英語教育方法を本気で考えました。

教材というより、英語勉強方法をどんどん教えます。著者の時代は、英語教材、英語メディアは簡単に手に入りませんでした。

今は、インターネット、AIで全てが足ります。あとは、どう勉強するかの方法論をマスターして頂ければ良いのです。

人に、魚を与えず、魚のすぐできる簡単な釣り方を教えます。

まず、無料であること。

幼稚園、小学校から始める英語教育（社会人でも十分つかえる方法）
全て英語で教える（辞書も全て英語のものにする　ネットにある無料のもので十分です）
分からなくても、シンプルなことを反復練習
外国人とのかかわりを増やす
無料のＡＩを利用して英語を学ぶ（もっとも大事と考えるロールプレイングの方法については第2回で説明しています）
できれば、毎日やる
（できれば、海外に1カ月から半年ほどの短期間でも住む）

著者の紹介する学習法は、英語だけでなく他の言語や科目にも応用ができます。

子供に外国語を教える場合、親御さんがその言語（英語）ができなくても、つたなくても、その言語（英語）で教えることが大切です。親御さん自身の勉強にもなります。

著者の無料英語勉強法の効果に自信を持っていますが、それは絶対ではありません。人がそれぞれ違うように、勉強法は向き不向きがあります。無料、有料を含め世の中には様々な勉強法があり、お金に余裕のなかった著者は出会えなかった素晴らしい方法やレッスンが沢山あるとは思います。自分に合った勉強法を見つけていってください。
