One of Onegai Kaeru team members went around Tokyo in search of cheap and big food when he was a hungry and poor student. When some foreigner say Japan is expensive, he gets surprised as he knows many good places to get full.

 

We just published one article on "How Can we Get Full" in Nara. After positive feedback, we decided to introduce another place in Nara where you can eat cheap and a lot. 

 

Kokkyo Shokudo is located near the boarder between Kyoto and Nara. In fact "Kokkyo" means "country boarder" ("Shokudo" means "restaurant"). We really love the name.

 

Please note that these places may have their rules about the food such as if you can not finish eating it, you may need to pay some penalty. Please order with caution!
