Detective Conan was created by a cartoonist (manga-ka) called " Gosho Aoyama ".

He was born in Tottori on 21 June, 1963. In 2005 he is married to the voice actor of Mimami Takayama who did the voice of the main characters of Conan (Conan Edogawa) and YAIBA (Yaiba Kurogane) and  (voice of Kiki, Kiki's delivery by Hayao Miyazaki). But they divorced in 2007.

When he created the Detective Conan in 1994, he did not think the series would last longer than 3 months. The series has turned out to be so popular and still continue in 2017 (as of this article).
