When is the best time to visit Japan? We usually answer "autumn".

Some may say "spring". But autumn is the spring( not cold and not hot) minus hay fever.

And Japan shall be full of the great autumn leaves (well we do not get beautiful cherry(sakura) flowers like spring in fall though ).

Where you stay makes your trip a lot different. We see more and more great hotels with global brands in Japan but if you really want to have a very special Japan experience, we recommend you to stay at a Japanese inn with private hot spring bath(onsen) and with the wonderful view at least for several days.

With this article, we introduce the great Japanese inns with private onsen baths we recommend for Autumn and Winter season, which are with nice natural hot springs and located in good nature.
